first_img By admin – February 29, 2016 Facebook Pinterest Donegal retains 14 Blue Flags, Lisfannon is not restored Homepage BannerNews Google+ Young man attends hospital following weekend assault in Derry Google+ Pinterest Gardai investigate Castlefinn burglary Police at Strand Road are appealing for information about an assault on a man in the Rosemount area of Derry yesterday morning.At about 3am, a man aged in his 20s was assaulted by two men at Rosemount Gardens.He was punched in the head and knocked to the ground, whereupon his wallet and iPhone 6 were stolen.   The victim sustained injuries to his face and attended hospital.Anyone who saw the incident or has information that could assist in identifying the culprits is asked to contact the police non-emergency number, 101.
